DASSK, Dalai Lama and my views

Per kind favour of saya U Atta Kyaw:

(Original in English)
In every group different points of view will occur.

  1. But I see this as an advantage.
  2. The more we come cross different opinions, the greater our opportunity to gain a greater understanding of others… and to improve ourselves.
  3. If we battle against anyone who thinks differently from us, everything becomes hard.
  4. We should not hold rigidly to our personal views but enter into dialogue in an open-minded way.
  5. In this way we will be able to compare viewpoints and discover new ones.

(Dalai Lama)

My comment: I agree but as I always used to pull the tail of “Nga Nge” (dot the “i”s and cross the “t”s thoroughly), may be you would kindly allow me to add something.
  1. For example (just an example only) if we wish to improve our country’s socio-economic and political status,
  2. we need the people working from the both side of the geo-political divide.
  3. i.e. in & out of the country and with the gov and against the gov.
  4. Although we do not agree with arms struggle or violent means, because of them only most of the governments around the world, including Myanmar Military leaders, would like to cooperate with the unarmed peaceful politicians and activists.
  5. So no need to fight amongst us.
  6. We all love Myanmar and all of us are trying for the good of our country.
