Unjust law is no law at all

” Unjust law is no law at all” This is a statement made by St. Augustine, and quoted by Martin Luther King, Jr. in his “Letter from Birmingham Jail.” The quote is saying is that an unjust law is not legitimate — there is no moral reason that you should have to follow that law.  Because of this, it is a moral basis for the idea of civil disobedience that King and others followed.

I am away in KL at that time, so not sure, may be wrong. The translation in Burmese was said to be coined by Mg Thaw Ka. ” Against all unfair orders (or perhaps, laws?)” မတရားတဲ့ အမိန္႔ အာဏာ မွန္သမွ် ဆန္႔က်င္ၾက during 8888. Please kindly correct me, I wish to know the truth.
