Breaking News: Meikhtila Anti-Muslim Riot (8:30 PM)

According to M-Media sources at 8:30PM today, three mosques in Meikhtila in central Burma have been destroyed by Buddhist rioters. Two of them were set on fire. The attacks were said to be perpetrated by the monks from Kambaung monastery.
A crowd of many hundred Buddhists also destroyed local Muslim shops during the day.
According to latest reports, article 144 has been issued. The military has taken security measure, as units from Mandalay are also being sent to the city.
But security situation is uncertain and most telephone numbers in Meikhtila are unaccessible.
