Myanmar is transition to a neo-Nazi “Buddhist” Golden Hell

Dr. Maung Zarni

First they came for the Jews.
Then for the Commies.
Then it was the Gypsies’ turn.
Homosexuals were next.
Poles too.
And the disabled.
And the ‘traitors’.

Looks like the only transition in Myanmar is transition to a neo-Nazi “Buddhist” Golden Hell.

When the Kachins were bombed and slaughtered the rest of the country continued with its ‘business as usual’.

When the Karens got attacked the Mons were sleeping in their trenches.

When the Shans got attacked the Pa-O were busy making money – or celebrating the news!

When the Saffron Monks were attacked the armed resistance groups were indifferent.

When the Rohingya got slaughtered, driven out and otherwise made to suffer the rest of the lovely Burmese society, including the “Myanmar Muslims” who want to be so accepted by the racist Buddhists“, looked the other way.

When the Muslims got attacked in Meikhtila, Buddhists in other places were not loosing sleep.

When NLD U Win Htein spoke out against the racist violence, he came close to being attacked himself by the blood-thirsty “Buddhists”.

When the Kamans are being slaughtered, all the peace-makers, peace-brokers, peace…. are busy, ah, what?

Peace is about business.

Brokering peace in the state-backed anti-Muslim neo-Nazi campaign is not lucrative.

Donors would not like it. It’s not part of the proposal.

Sorry, brother. Sorry, sister.

See you next life!

First they came for the Rohingyas..Bengalis..Indians and at last all the Muslims

First they came for the Rohingyas,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Rohingya.

Then they came for the Bengalis,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Bengali.

Then they came for the Kalas (Indians in rude derogatory term),
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Kala.

Then they came for MUSLIMS in Myanmar
and there was no one left to speak out for me and Muslims.

Adapted from the following famous words of pastor Martin Niemöller from Wikipedia.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn’t speak out
because I wasn’t a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I
didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a
Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for
me.
