Please advise me, what should I do, how should I treat others who are different from me?

Please advise me, what should I do, how should I treat others who are different from me?

Many of my friends thought I am crazy and wrong but I cannot understand other way.

99% of my friends, teachers, lecturers, patients, students are non-Muslims; I would not be able to hate them even if I tried my best because I love them from my bottom of my heart. Not only I love them but missed them.

I cannot hate all Buddhists, Christians, Jews, Hindus, traditional nat believers, Communists, Free thinkers or non-believers.

I love many Americans, Jews, Europeans, Australians, Chinese, Japans, Koreans, Thais, Indonesians, Malays, Iranians, Arabs, Indians, and Khurds etc.

I also love Bamas and its Ethnic Minorities esp Shans, Kachins, Chins and even some Rakhines.

Now this is the most important question which I wish to ask my fellow beloved conservative, mainstream Muslim friends.

I was brought up by my late father who used to pray five times at the masjids, follow Tabalige regularly and had close relation with Ulama group and hate Islamic Council, Kadiani, Perwasis etc. So my heart and belief is with you my friends. But my father was the one who was active as a Muslim youth leader of Kalaw in late 1950 to early 60s who successfully negotiate a peaceful coexistence of Sunnis and Shias who were fighting furiously before he arrive there.

Nowadays during the recent flare-up of Anti-Muslim riots, no 969 Monk or Swarn Arr Shin were asking whether we are Sunnis or Shias or others before assaulting the Muslims or looting and burning Muslim properties.

So, if we can made friend with Buddhists, Christians, Americans, UN Officials, why should we exclude the Muslim groups different from us: Shias, Kadianis, 59 street people? I am not promoting them and we all do not need to follow them. They practice their version of religion and we practice ours. Religiously no need to cooperate but we must strategically make alliance and combine force to get strong political bargaining power.

And we need to understand that we need to form a strong Socio-political group of all Muslims in Myanmar. We should avoid religious activities within our group, which should be regarded as personal affairs. We need to AGREE to disagree in Intra-Islam affairs. We need to avoid religious fighting, deal together, and join our hands to face the Anti-Muslim 969 and Government assaults.
