ROEWENGYAS IN ARAKAN

I wrote about Rakhaing Kaman Muslims, the descendants of Shah Shujah’s followers in a previous article entitled “Shah Shujah in Arakan” which was published in this magazine vol: VI, No, 9 for the month of September 1965. Now I take great pleasure in writing about the Muslims who stepped into the soil of
Arakan and settled in the country before Shah Shujah took refuge with the Arakanese king Sandathudamma (1652-1684) in 1660.

Burma’s potential for a nationwide religious war

Burma’s potential for a nationwide religious war By Nov 07, 2012 1

Burma sectarian violenceThe violence in western Burma between Rohingya and Arakanese has evolved in recent weeks, and now there is a distinct possibility that a religious war is unfolding that could spread far beyond Arakan state. The most concerning sign is the recent attacks by Arakanese and security forces on Kaman Muslims, who had previously lived comfortably alongside Buddhist communities, and who have citizenship (the citizenship issue had been one of the main justifications used by Arakanese and the government for mistreatment of the Rohingya, who are stateless).

Should Burma as an Islamophobic, racist and openly anti-Muslim country be allowed to chair ASEAN?

August 10, 2012
  1. Burma – the new chair of ASEAN – is anti-Islam and anti-Muslims.
  2. It is openly killing Myanmar Muslims and Rohingyas in Rakhine.
  3. It has done numerous Anti-Muslim Riots in other parts of Myanmar.
  4. It’s people are openly against Islam.
  5. All the insults and attacks are public.
  6. In ASEAN, there are three predominantly Muslim countries. One of them, Indonesia, is the largest Muslim country in the world (in term of population)
  7. Malaysia and Brunei are Muslim dominant ASEANs.
  8. In other ASEAN countries such as Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines also have significant Muslim populations.

Should Burma as an Islamophobic, racist and openly anti-Muslim country be allowed to chair ASEAN?

I don’t think so!

Long live, the present government U Thein Sein and DASSK’s partnership!

November 11, 2011

Myanmar government is opening up and allowing the free movement of Muslim Arakans in most of the Arakan.

So those opposed to the present government were misled by Racist Buddhist Arakans to join in their jealous campaign. I HEREBY SUPPORT THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT and DASSK. Those so called democratic who became megalomaniac after ‘wining’ the IT war with the “Save Irrawaddy campaign” are foolishly trying to topple the present government by this second sequelae will fail.

Long live, the present government U Thein Sein and DASSK’s partnership.
