ကာတာႏုိင္ငံအေျခစုိက္နာမည္ႀကီး အယ္လ္ဂ်ဇီးရားသတင္းဌာနက ဒီဇင္ဘာလ (၈) ရက္ေန႔ကစၿပီး (၁၃) ရက္ေန႔ထိ The Hidden Genocide လုိ႔ေခါင္းစဥ္တပ္ထားတဲ့ မွတ္တမ္းဗီဒီယုိ တစ္ခု ျပသမည္ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းကို  ဒီဇင္ဘာလ (၃) ရက္ေန႔မွာ ေၾကျငာခဲ့ပါတယ္။

အဲဒီဗီဒီယို မွတ္တမ္းမွာ
ဇြန္လကျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့တဲ့ အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈေတြမွာ ၅ ရက္အတြင္း လူ(၂၀၀) ေက်ာ္ကို သတ္ျပီး က်င္းအၾကီး(၂) ခုထဲတြင္ ျမဳပ္ႏွံ႕လက္စေဖ်ာက္ခဲ့တဲ့အေၾကာင္း၊
စစ္တပ္၊ နစက၊ လုံထိန္းေတြကပစ္သတ္   လုိ႔ေသခဲ့ရတဲ့ ၃၅ ေယာက္ (ကေလး ၂၅ ေယာက္) ကုိျမဳပ္ ထားတဲ့ေနရာ၊
သတ္ျဖတ္ခံရတဲ့လူ ၁၀၀ ေက်ာ္ရဲ့အေလာင္းေတြကုိ ကုန္တင္ကားနဲ႔သယ္သြားတာကုိမ်က္စိနဲ႔ ကုိယ္တုိင္ျမင္ခဲ့ရတဲ့ မ်က္ျမင္သက္ေသ၊
လုံျခဳံေရးတပ္ဖြဲ႔၀င္ေတြက ရုိဟင္ဂ်ာေတြရဲ့ ေနအိမ္ေတြထဲကုိ ဓါတ္ဆီပုလင္းႏွင့္ ပစ္ေပါက္ၿပီး မီးရွဳိ႕တဲ့အေၾကာင္း၊
ဘာသာေရးပညာရွင္ ၄၀ ကုိဗလီထဲကုိေခၚၿပီး အားလုံးကုိသတ္ပစ္လုိက္တဲ့အေၾကာင္း၊
အသက္ ၁၂ ႏွစ္အရြယ္မိန္းကေလးကုိ ေမာင္ႏွမ၀မ္းကြဲ ၅ ေယာက္ေရွ႕မွာ ရဲေတြက မီးပုံႀကီးထဲကုိ မီးရွဳိ႕သတ္တဲ့အေၾကာင္း၊
အစုလုိက္အၿပဳံလုိက္ဖမ္းဆီးၿပီး ေသတဲ့အထိညွင္းပန္းႏွိပ္စက္တဲ့အေၾကာင္း၊ ရဲစန္းမွာအေလာင္း ၆ ေလာင္းျမင္ခဲ့ရတဲ့အေၾကာင္း၊
အမ်ဳိးသမီး တစ္ေယာက္ကုိ စစ္သား၊ လုံထိန္း၊ နစက အေယာက္ (၂၀) ေယာက္က၀ုိင္းၿပီး မုဒိန္း က်င့္တဲ့ အေၾကာင္း၊ (more…)

My DREAMS

 “Dreams” or may be ‘Our aims and objectives” or “Our Visions” or may be more appropriately called “Our goals and objectives” for the year of 2048 AD.

Burma or Myanmar got Independence in 1948. So it is exactly 100 years after it. Let us go to our dreamland now…

Oh! Unbelievable, all have changed; BSPP, SLORC and SPCD all are in history book now. Actually they are only mentioned in the black dark pages of our history books, together with Germany under Hitler, Italy under Mussolini, Uganda under Idi Amin, Cambodia under Pol Pot, Yugoslavia Bosnia Kosovo under Milosevic etc. Ah! Please let me stop looking at the past. Let us forget the nightmare and look at the pleasant present and bright future.

Treat domestic workers right – or they won’t come

Without ensuring the protection of rights of migrant workers, we cannot achieve sustainable employment. There is a global outcry which is now manifested in the ILO Convention on domestic workers.

Malaysia voted against it. As nations move forward to develop sustainability, Malaysia slides back, moving towards exploitation and practices of slavery. The government can no longer sustain this form of modern day slavery manifested in domestic labour. There must be respect for the dignity of the person, decent work ensured and work out a due diligence of process from recruitment, employment and return.

Padauk ပိ ေတာက္ ပန္း

This flower usually blooms at Thingyan (Myanmar Water Festival) or around Thingyan. The time is in April of each year. It has a yellow color. It is also known as Thingyan Flower. It gives sweet smells and a favourite for the Thingyan lovers.
