“Thein Sein is no Gorbachev!” FRANCE 24: THE INTERVIEW – U Win Tin
April 17, 2013Maung Zarni wrote>>> “Thein Sein is no Gorbachev!”
Here is a must-watch 11 minutes-interview with NLD Co-founder Win Tin
1) “Myanmar Spring has no flowers”. People would say there is no real change at all.
2) “Aung San Suu Kyi has not changed in terms of her democratic thinking. But she is playing politics.
3) NLD isn’t really making compromises. Because there is nothing the military offers us to compromise on. ASSK is collaborating with it very much.

Racist General is also a coloured person even in the eyes of yellow people
February 26, 2013Shared from FB of U U Mhaw Sayar
But even their step-father with YELLOW SKIN look down on all coloured people including Tibetans, Uyghurs, Non-Hans, Ethnic Minority Chinese citizens and ofcourse all the Myanmars as coloured, wild, animal-grade creatures.
Han Chinese looks up at White people and regarded the other yellow Japanese and Koreans as their same rank brothers.
Because of that historical inherited beliefs, those Chinese trainer pilots or other professionals who are training even their counterparts in Myanmar Military are quite rude and aggressive. Have you never heard or know or realized these incidences Mr Generals?
U Thein Sein, Daw Suu and Wira Thu should understand not to discriminate the dark skinned persons as they themselves are coloured not only in the eyes of White People but also in the eyes of our yellowed neighbours.
Unruly lines between Myanmar and China
February 11, 2013Source: China’s history in Myanmar: Unruly lines
THE border between Yunnan province and northern Myanmar (formerly Burma) has always been porous. To the people who live in the region, the border is a crooked mark on other people’s maps, an arbitrary boundary snaking its way 2,400 kilometres through rugged and wild terrain. The authorities in Beijing have seen the same land as a lawless borderland, a place to be controlled.
