Doah or du`a’ is the best form of prayers

May 25, 2012

Some attributes of Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala (exalted is He) are mentioned only a few times in the Qur’an, while others are mentioned in numerous places, especially focusing on the ways they manifest. Concepts are repeated so that when we forget, we do not forget for too long. One of these Names that we seem to forget is al-Mujeeb: the One who Responds; and Allah (swt) shows us throughout the Qur’an the manifestation of this Name with those who ask Him.

Muslims need to avoid extremism to get a moderate middle path leading to justice

March 27, 2012

Most of the Muslims generally need to practice moderation according to the following Quranic verses –i.e. verse 143 of the second chapter – al-Baqarah. Lord Buddha had also taught his followers to take a middle path, avoiding the extremism.

Surah Al-Baqara

Thus We have appointed you a middle nation, that ye may be witnesses against mankind, and that the messenger may be a witness against you. And We appointed the qiblah which ye formerly observed only that We might know him who followeth the messenger, from him who turneth on his heels. In truth it was a hard (test) save for those whom Allah guided. But it was not Allah’s purpose that your faith should be in vain, for Allah is Full of Pity, Merciful towards mankind. (143)

Some Chinese leaders has no problem that his daughter converted to Christian and even if his grandchild were a gay. For the Buddhists and Hindus, I had seen and read in the newspapers, no problem if Chinese Dieties and Hindu R brought in and put together with their gods’ statues or Buddha’s statue.

Buddhist & Hindus who R vegetarians or just avoids meat would not mind sitting together with their friends eating meat. They could marry and stay together with the spouses from different religion…etc. But MOST although not all the Muslims try to avoid those kind of situation as they know that Islam do not allow. May be they sometimes could not avoid other sins but…NOTE that there is some religious edits in Myanmar that gambling or lotery under the NON-ISLAMIC government is permissionable!

The Muslim community is thriving in China as the younger generation carry on the religion.

ISLAM has evolved into the second largest religion in China. Its rich heritage can be traced back to Muslim diplomats and merchants from Persia who spread the religion to the territories between 630AD and 751AD during the Tang Dynasty. In 651AD, Tang Emperor Li Shimin received an envoy sent by Caliph Uthman and this was followed by 16 more official visits by delegations from the Umayyad Caliphate in the next century.

In Islam, shirk (Arabic: شرك‎ širk) is the sin of idolatry or polytheism, i.e. the deification or worship of anyone or anything other than the singular God, or more literally the establishment of “partners” placed beside God. It is the vice that is opposed to the virtue of tawhid (monotheism).[1]

Within Islam, shirk is an unforgivable crime; God may forgive any sin except for committing shirk.
