Anti-Islam activists with the T-Shirts named “Organization for Protecting and Safeguarding Race and Religion”

On 20^th January 2013, at about 9:15 am, near Myo Ma Market in Pha-ann (Capital of Karen State), young monks and youths wearing T-shirt with the printed Burmese  words meaning “Organization for Protecting and safeguarding Race and Religion”, scrutinized the Buddhists who bought goods from Muslim shops and asked them to return the stuffs back to the Muslims. One of the  incidents was – when they found a Karen ethnic had bought zinc roofing sheets from a Muslim shop, they threatened him and asked him to return those back to the shop and purchase only from the non-Muslim shop. It was reported that this incident was witnessed by nearby people of different religions.

Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Taoism etc religions are all good. But some governments and Bigots are using the Religion so that exploit others. Once Brainwashed with religion, many followers are ready to kill others and they are even willing to sacrifice their lives for their beloved religion. Even not a very religious persons could be converted into religious warriors (e.g Jihadist or Crusader) by the cooperation of religious leaders and political leaders. People are like ‘brainless’ sheep just follow their leaders. It is important to have Hate Crime preventing laws and Racial discrimination laws in all the country and UN should guide the political leaders about the Peaceful coexistence of different races and religious groups.

U Thein Sein should just copy the FORMER Senior General U Than Shwe in arresting Ne Win, Khin Nyunt and removing Saw Mg…If he and good Generals combined and remove the hardliners from Military and gov, Daw Suu led NLD and ALL the people of Myanmar including Ethnic Minorities would support him.
