Some people in Malaysia, Myanmar and ASEAN thought that the SMELLY-the-day-after-urine was a sign of bad toxic materials excreted out. But they are wrong. Most of the Myanmar doctors know about this. We have seen a lot of dysuria, haematuria, renal failure patients in Myanmar because our people like to eat hundreds of specially boiled Da Nyin thee or Jengkols.

COME every Nov 20, the world celebrates the Universal Children’s Day, which according to the United Nations is to promote international togetherness and awareness among children.

Universal Children’s Day was established in 1954 and five years later, the UN General Assembly adopted the “Declaration of the Rights of the Children”.

MALAYSIA may be fast-growing technologically to become a developed nation by the year 2020 but there is a very serious problem growing just as fast – the deterioration of moral and ethical values among our youths.

Recently, a 17-year-old boy was shot dead as he and his accomplices tried to rob a household by threatening the occupants with parang.

In another incident, three Mat Rempit died while doing daredevil stunts on an uncompleted stretch of highway near Kampung Bukit Tepoh in Tepoh. It has been reported that there are about 2,000 youths belonging to different Mat Rempit gangs in Terengganu alone.

Sex is not just for the young and an inaugural workshop has been organised to rejuvenate the sex lives of elderly couples in Terengganu.

A host of health specialists and geriatricians, including renowned sex therapist Prof Dr Mohd Ismail Mohd Tambi, have been invited as facilitators in the pioneer workshop to start tomorrow in Setiu. Some 300 senior citizens are expected to take part.
